Got a closet full of games and toys that you're ready to trade for other, different games and toys? Want to get a great deal on someone else's barely-used merchandise? Come out to our Geek Garage Sale on Saturday, to find new-to-you treasures or turn your spare items into Atomic Empire store credit!
Sellers must reserve space, and may register for a half-table ( 4' x 2.5' ) and one chair, or a whole table (8' x 2.5') and two chairs. The opportunity to make a reservation will be assigned via a lottery (details below).
Bring anything to sell as long as it fits our themes of comics, games, toys, and general-geeky-interest items. You decide what your stuff is worth and can adjust prices or haggle at your discretion.
Items for sale may NOT include:
- Food or drink
- Any NC-17 items
- Ask if you are unsure about an item.
Buyers will purchase $1 garage-sale tickets from the store and may exchange the tickets for merchandise at the seller tables. No cash may be used to purchase Garage Sale items.
Any time on August 16, tickets may be redeemed at the counter for a gift card of equal value (so 10 tickets can be redeemed for a $10 gift card). Tickets have no value after August 16, so make sure to redeem them!Registration is only required for sellers -- buyers do not need to register!
For the August 2025 Geek Garage Sale, vendor registration is going to be different. It is going to be a lottery.
Lottery entry will open on Wednesday, July 16 at 12PM and be open for 48 hours, closing on Friday, July 18 at 12PM. During lottery registration, you must indicate how much space you want, either a full table, a half-table, or a half-table if you can't get a full table.
Lottery entry is free and does not have a cap, though each household may only enter the lottery once.
Once entries are closed, lottery winners will be notified, and they will have 48 hours from the time of notification to register and pay (link TBA), or else forfeit the opportunity to another entrant.
