Embark on an Atomic-Powered Summer
Adventure
This summer, undertake a journey filled with
excitement, fantasy, and adventure! There are three separate
campaigns, but players can skip any week or weeks of a campaign to
participate. Each weekly session is independent but connected to the
overall campaign, offering a more comprehensive experience.
This
summer will be focused on exploration, the wonder and horror of new
worlds.
Here are the Details:

The programs run 6.5 hours daily, Monday
to Friday, from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Games will be in the City
Room at Atomic Empire, where you can immerse yourself in a world of
fantasy and imagination.
The program is for ages
12-15, with content comparable to PG or PG13-rated movies but played
out in the players' imagination rather than presented on a
screen. Sorry, we are inflexible on this age range.
Get ready for an unforgettable summer with these three
exciting campaigns:
Beyond the Witchlight (Dungeons and Dragons: June 16 – 20, June 23 – 27, July 7 – 11): Dazzling lights and music greet you with the infinite possibilities of the Witchlight Carnival, which has set up near the town. But not all is as it appears. Strange whispers, missing treasures, and lost memories plague the attendees. A night of laughter and marvel leads to the fey realm that produced the Carnival and the plague that has set upon it. This is a lighter adventure full of fairy-tale wonder for the whimsical roleplayer.
Land of the Mists (Dungeons and Dragons: July 14 – 18, July 21 – 25, July 28 – August 1): Welcome to the mist-shrouded lands of Barovia and its evil Vampiric overlord, Strahd von Zarovich. Can you break the curse, escape this land, or even save it? Or will you, like those who came before, succumb to the superstitions of pitchfork-wielding villagers? Lacking the more mature themes from the classic adventures Ravenloft and the Curse of Strahd, this will still focus on traditional horror tropes, and adventurers should prepare for the walking dead, spiders, and ghosts.
Court of Whispers (Dungeons and Dragons: August 4 – 8, August 11 – 15, August 18 - 22): Every world is a breathtaking adventure, and the Radiant Citadel touches them all. From lush jungles and bustling markets to mysterious ruins and ancient rituals, every adventure offers a new world to explore and a new story waiting. Episodic adventures lead to a variety of different worlds, peoples, and adventures.
What players need:
An imagination
A sense of adventure
Lunch
Recommended Materials:
A set of dice (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20)
A miniature to represent your character
Pencils and paper for taking notes
Atomic Empire also carries cool stuff
like character folios, miniatures for familiars, and area of effect
templates available in the store, so remember to check ahead of time!
Player-facing books, character sheets, and dice will be available for
players during the game.

Registration for our summer D&D campaigns will remain open throughout the season, however the deadline to cancel and receive a refund for any session is Monday, May 19th.
We limit spaces in each campaign to ensure a quality experience. Our cancellation guidelines and policies are based on our duty to fulfill commitments we’ve made to our participants and staff. Please complete this registration only if you understand and agree to abide by the following policy.
Payment in full is due at time of registration. Your space in the campaign will be reserved as soon as your order is submitted.
All cancellation, transfer, or change requests must be made in writing via email to [email protected].
If You Need to Transfer to a Different Campaign
You may submit a transfer request more than 14 days prior to the first day of the campaign you are transferring from.
If space is available, we will honor your request for a transfer. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate transfer requests within 14 days of the first day of a campaign.
If You Need to Cancel Your Registration (campaigns occurring from June 16 through August 22, 2025)
If a cancellation request is received on or before May 19, 2025, we will refund the full registration fee.
For cancellations due to illness or injury, cancellations will follow the current refund policy.
If Atomic Empire Needs to Cancel
If Atomic Empire must cancel a campaign in whole or in part due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, insufficient sign-ups, GM illness) or for any other reason, we will refund the price of the days canceled. We will endeavor to inform you as soon as possible of any cancellations or schedule changes.
Campaigns are $400/week or $1050 if you sign up for all 3 weeks.
Early Bird Pricing! Register before March 1st and receive a discounted rate of $350/week or $900 for a 3-week campaign.

Dylan Rickards has been playing Dungeons and Dragons since elementary school, a very long time ago. He started DMing in fourth grade because he was the first kid in the neighborhood with the D&D red box set. Dylan has been a professional Gamemaster since 2021 and primarily runs Dungeons and Dragons, Starfinder, and Call of Cthulhu. He has been running D&D in the summers at Atomic Empire since 2022. In 2023, he completed his certification as a Therapeutic Gamemaster with Geek Therapeutics.
