Friday Night Magic: Standard Showdown

The moment has arrived.
The Grand Finale of our Bloomburrow Standard Showdown Season is here. When the dust settles at the end of this event, one player will be crowned the Gold Standard. They will add their signature to our framed trophy wall, and receive a set of custom sleeves unique to this event!
Standard Showdown requires a minimum of four players to launch. If less than that number register, Atomic Empire has up to 2 staff members standing by to join in and make up the difference!
Start Time: 7:00pm
Entry Fee: $10
Format: Standard. 3-4 Swiss rounds, depending on attendance.
Standard Showdown is not your run-of-the-mill Friday Night Magic—at least, not at Atomic Empire. All Standard Showdown participants will earn points toward our Season Points race. The overall winner will be crowned the Gold Standard and win a set of custom sleeves unique to the store.
Our grand finale event will award 1.5x points!
Your season total will be the sum of the points you earned at your 5 best events (which allows every player to miss 2 events with no penalty). Points are awarded each week as follows:

For this event only:
- 4.5 points for each match win
- 1.5 points for each draw (tie)
- 4.5 points for attendance
Check our online and in-store leaderboard to see your results (updated every Monday).
Prizes will be in the form of exclusive Standard Showdown promos like Omenpath Lands and alt-art Cowboy Bebop cards.
Additionally, Set/Play Boosters or store credit (player's choice) will be awarded to the top half of the field based on match record.

- 3-0-0: 4 packs or $20 store credit
- 2-0-1: 3 packs or $15
- 2-1-0: 2 packs or $10
- All others: 1 pack or $5
- 4-0-0: 6 packs or $30 store credit

- 3-1-0: 4 packs or $20
- 2-1-1: 2 packs or $10
- All others: 1 pack or $5
