Join us for an Atomic Empire April 2024 DOUBLES X-Wing tournament!
This tournament will use the Standard format, the latest rules and points, and any new ships, rules, or points that AMG releases by Friday, 4/26/2024. We will follow the Hotshot Event Tournament Regulations. You can find all current rules, scenarios, and points documents here.
Tournament Questions and Updates:
Please join the Atomic Empire Discord and give yourself the Star Wars role or check the Star Wars Minis channel for tournament information.
Format: Doubles! Participants can make a team ahead of time or get paired with a teammate before the tournament starts. Each player should bring a squad of 9 points, for a total of 18 points per team. Pilots and upgrades are not unique between teammates, so each player on a team can play one copy of Darth Vader in their list, for example. Players on the same team may play as different factions. Each player brings two obstacles with their squad for a total of eight obstacles available per game. Only six will be placed during setup, so two obstacles will not be used in each game. Each player should have their own damage deck.
Games are played to a total of 18 points instead of the standard 20. Units in teams are friendly to each other. Teammates must discuss all decisions related to the game at the table, though they can reference hidden information such as a dial when discussing team strategy.
Tournament Structure: Swiss rounds and a potential cut based on the number of players. The TO will randomly determine a scenario for each round.

- 10:00: Doors Open
- 10:30: Announcements and pairings
- 10:45 – 12:15: Round 1
- 12:20 – 1:50: Round 2
- 3:00 – 4:30: Round 3
- 4:35 – 6:05: Round 4 **If Necessary (17-32 players)**
- 7:00 – 8:30: Top 4
- 8:35 – 10:05: Final
