Role Playing Games
- TBD
- Magic: The Gathering
- Arising amidst the CCG boom of the 1990s, Magic was often overshadowed by bigger, more popular games like Wyvern, Rage, or Spellfire. Its unique mechanics, innovated by its little-known designer, Richard Garfield, earned it a cult following and in 1999 it caught the eye of the plucky upstarts at Hasbro, where it enjoys modest success to this day.
- We will have training decks to borrow, or you can build your own by signing up here.
- There will be foil promotional cards available to all new players.
- Legendary
Legendary is a deck-building game like Dominion or Ascension, in which you recruit heroes that will allow you to attack various villains. Throughout the game, you are working against a Scheme that will challenge the player in defeating the mastermind. The game ends either when you defeat the mastermind four times, or the scheme plays out where evil wins. - Doomtown
Welcome to Doomtown, an expandable card game where you try to gain control of a western town set in the Weird West of Deadlands. In this world, cowpokes good and bad wield guns, steampunk gadgets, and spells of all sorts, and death is sometimes just a minor inconvenience.
- TBD
- Conquest
Conquest – the Last Argument of Kings is a mass battle wargame where the rules are quick and easy to learn for a new player but are still able to offer a new and complex strategy to master. Doing away with player turns and army deployment, it instead it focuses on the command stack mechanic, where each player determines at the beginning of the round what order his troops are going to be activated in. Coupled with a unique escalation reinforcement mechanic where light, medium, and heavy troops each have their roles, the fog of war is a very real thing. - Kill Team
Set in the same universe and using the same miniatures ranges as Warhammer 40,000 but with a different rules set, it allows you to play a game of fast-paced tactical skirmish combat in games of 2-4 players, in less time and with a fraction of the models you’d need to play a full game of Warhammer 40,000.
