Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game
Spring Conquest League
Tuesdays 6PM
4/11 - 6/20
Like maps, rolling dice and armies created out of small figures?
We welcome you to the Middle Earth SBG Spring Conquest League!
The focus of the league is to battle across the grand realm of Middle-earth with more narrative driven objectives and special rules than common pick-up games may have.
Note: Tuesdays will be the official game night, but players can schedule games on other days as needed to make-up missed event days.
Details for games:
Games will be played as 1 vs 1 matches with 9 total over the course of the whole league. Missions will be linked to 6 distinct Regions of Middle-earth found within the Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle Game Matched Play Guide. As players battle across Middle-earth, missions, secondary objectives, and additional narrative special rules may come into effect.
Players must maintain the same faction through the course of the league and that faction will be submitted when players register for the league. If a player would like to switch their faction, they will do so before their fourth game in the league (May 9th). Players assemble an “Assault Army” and a “Defense Army” from their faction. Each of these armies must be led by different Named Characters. Other named characters in either army also cannot be included in both armies. The allowance for each army is 600 points. Which army you use against your opponent will be decided by a dice roll to start each league match. Players will play their match within the Region of the Defender’s army. This will mean the opposite player will be using their Assault Army to play that match.
Prizes and Event Wrap-up:
At the league’s end, June 20th, an Atomic Empire gift card will be given to the player with the Most Territories claimed and the player with the Most Renown earned. For more information on how to claim Territories and gain Renown, review the following link
Game Size & Army construction:
Opponents for each week of the event will be arranged by the League Administrator (Nathaniel Coffin, Zuzudakka#8981 on Discord).
