New players (Students) receive a tournament-legal deck at sign-up and are assigned to their Hero Mentor, an experienced MHA player.
Students will spend 1 hour learning the rules of the game, playing a game with their Hero Mentor, and getting tips on how to use their deck.
After that hour, Students will play 3 best-of-one games alongside their Mentor in a Swiss tournament structure, with both Mentor and Student playing side-by-side matches against fellow Mentor/Student pairs.
Students can ask questions and get assistance from their Hero Mentor as they play their matches.
