Come out on Monday nights and join us for some friendly, casual-level play with your favorite Star Wars ships!
When: Monday nights from 5:30 to 11:00, June 6 through 27. You can organize league games outside of league nights, but Monday is the official in-store night.
Discord: All league information will be in the Atomic Empire Star Wars Minis Discord channel here.
Gameplay: Four games total over four weeks. The first four games you have reported with other league players will count as your league matches.
Rules: League will follow the current official rules documents and points pdfs. You can find all current rules documents here.
Format: Standard with scenarios will be our league format. You and your opponent can randomize which scenario you play or agree on one you'd both like to play.
Round timing: Games are to 20 mission points, 75 minutes, or 12 rounds, whichever comes first. If you and your opponent agree not to use the default 12-round counter, then your game will end at the completion of the turn during which the 75-minute timer ends. If both players have reached 20 mission points before round 12 or 75 minutes and the score is tied, continue play until one player is ahead at the end of the End Phase or you reach the end of round 12 or 75 minutes.
Victory Conditions:
At the end of the End Phase, if only one player has ships remaining in the play area, they win the game immediately.
At the end of the End Phase, if one player has 20 or more mission points and has more mission points than their opponent, the game ends.
At the end of the twelfth round, the game ends.
At the end of the game, if both players have at least one ship remaining in the play area, the player with the most mission points wins.
Scoring: Points will be the current tournament scoring: 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss. Players will report their game results and scores in a Google form, and standings (pinned in Discord) will update with all reported games by Friday of each week. One player needs to report the result of the game. The final standings will be posted at the end of the league, and players can pick up prizes the following week. Tiebreakers for standings are Strength of Schedule followed by combined mission points.
Score Reporting: One player from each game should report the results, with the winner and mission points scored for each player. Players can enter all this information in the Google form pinned in Discord.
Prizes: Prizes will consist of store credit, alternate art cards, and potentially acrylic tokens.
