Earn your invitation to the Carolina State Championships!
This is part of a series of tournaments that Atomic Empire will be hosting leading up to the Carolina Series Invitational.
Format:Standard - UPDATE - Astral Radiance, proxies or otherwise, will NOT be legal.
There will be a number of best-of-one Swiss rounds (based on attendance) with potential for a Top Cut.
Players of all ages are invited to attend and compete for their spot in the final State Championships! Though, do understand that there will be NO separation in age divisions throughout Carolina Series events.
Decklists are Required. You can download a form here.
Prizes: 2 packs will be added to the prize pool for every attendee and then awarded based on standings to the top half of the field. We will also have an assortment of Pokemon promotional items to give out. Additionally, all Carolina Invitational Events will hand out CS Points that accumulate to your Carolina Standing, of which they'll all use the below point structure: 1st place - 25 pts
2nd place - 20 pts
Top 4 - 15 pts (if 9+ players in attendance)
Top 8 - 10 pts (if 17+ players in attendance)
Top 16 - 5 pts (if 30+ players in attendance)
Events that are part of the Carolina Series Invitational Championships are not officially sanctioned by Play! Pokemon or TPCI, nor are we claiming that any future sanctioned events are part of this series. But, based on one's placement at any eligible Regional or International events, one can accumulate additional CS points to climb the Carolina Rankings as a means of proving their worth in the Carolinas based on their finish at official events, of which is public knowledge.
