Marvel: Crisis Protocol Secret Wars League
Runs October 1st through November 11th
The Beyonder has pulled teams of heroes and villains from various alternate universes to see which universe in the multiverse contains the strongest team! Placed on a Battleworld with a diverse selection of terrain, these teams must battle for survival, making the best use of the limited resources they can come by!
At the start of the league, players will each submit a roster containing:
15 characters (and/or Infinity Gems)
12 Team Tactics cards
3 Secure Crisis cards
3 Extraction Crisis cards
Aside from the increased quantity of characters and Team Tactics cards, all other roster-building rules apply. You will retain this roster for the entire league, so any new characters/cards released during the league will not be possible to use in this league.
Each week, players will be paired against each-other. Pairings will be posted in the Atomic Empire Discord server. Games will be played using this Tabletop Simulator mod.
After rolling for priority, shuffle the deck of Strict terrain cards and reveal 3 cards off the top of it. The player with the Priority token chooses one of these cards to eliminate, then the other player selects one of the remaining two. This represents the portion of Battleworld that this skirmish is taking place! Setup then continues with Crisis selection and Squad building as normal.
At the end of each game, players must make note of which of their characters have been KO'd. These characters are too badly hurt from the battle to jump right back into action, and the limited resources on this Battleworld don't help with recovery time! These characters will not be considered part of your roster in the next week of play! After taking a week off, however, the well-rested character will be eager to make up for lost time; they will start the next game you use them in with an extra 2 power!
Exception: Any character whose Leadership ability is being used for a game ignores the above rules entirely. It is the burden of a leader to struggle on even when others would falter; their team is counting on them! So they find some way to keep going game after game, even if they are hurt.
Games will be scored on a simple win/loss system. It is up to each pair of players to schedule their match. If a match doesn't happen, the player who was responsible for the scheduling problems will lose that match. If responsibility cannot be determined, both players are considered to have lost. Games should be coordinated in the Atomic Empire Discord server, which can also be used for voice chat during the game.
In order to encourage keeping up on the hobby aspect of the game, players will be encouraged to submit a photo of their roster in real life. Players may submit this photo at any point during the league. If you have not yet painted your roster, now is a good time to work on it; if you paint 2-3 characters per week, you can have your roster fully painted by the end! Please feel free to post progress photos as well if you are working on acheiving this goal.

Prizes will be distributed as follows:
- 3 wins - 1 share
- 4 wins - 2 shares
- 5 wins - 3 shares
- 6 wins - 4 shares
In case it is unclear, here is an example of how the store credit pools will work. Say there are 8 players in the league, meaning the "Battle pool" is $80 of store credit. At the end, the players have 6, 5, 4, 3, 3, 2, 1, and 0 wins. Among the 5 players with 3 or more wins, they are owed a total of 11 shares to divide (4+3+2+1+1) so each share is $7.27. The player with 6 wins gets 4 of those shares, so $29.08 of store credit.
