Wizards is trying something totally new and unexpected- a set designed exclusively for the Modern format. Instead of a normal set release, Modern Horizons takes mechanics tuned for Modern and bypasses the Standard format entirely, introducing a plethora of new cards into one of Magic’s most loved formats.

Players will get 6 packs of Modern Horizons, build a minimum 40-card deck from their pool of cards, and play 4 rounds of Swiss with prizes paid out in Modern Horizons packs based on record.
