Our next Warhammer 40k Kill Team league will begin June 2nd. The official day and time will be Sundays at noon. However, games can be played whenever you can get them in, if need be. The leagues will now be running bi-monthly. This league will run from June 2 to July 28 (9 weeks). With the next league starting up the following week. One Sunday during the league will be a full on tournament day (TBD).
This league will be moving in a more casual direction, so there will be no requirement for you to keep the same faction throughout the league. Feel free to change factions from week to week or game to game.
Remember, your games can be played at ANY TIME. Most play will probably take place on Sundays when most of the community comes out to play.
Mission types or format types will not be preset. When you pair up with someone, you will decide between yourselves what type of game you'd like to play (basic, rogue trader, annihilation, arena, whatever you want). You can even agree to use Commanders if you'd like. The only thing that is always active is the Elites rules. That includes the new units and subfactions. In addition, if you just feel like coming down and getting your hobby on, feel free to do so! There's usually at least a handful of people at the store working on some project or another. PAIRINGS AND SCORING Scoring will just be recorded in wins and losses. There will be no minimum requirement of games you need to play, but you can only have one game against each member of the league count for the league. So if there are 8 players in the league, you can only cap out at 7 games played for league scoring. Obviously, this doesn't mean you can't get in pickup games in the meantime. PRIZES Prizes will be awarded based on attendance. On top of this, we will have access to the Kill Team OP kits if available. We will have more hobby-related prizes this go around to try to take pressure off of a winning record. We will vote on these as a community, with TO's choice as a tiebreaker. If you have any questions, join the Facebook group linked in the sidebar.
