Join us every Sunday from 12-3 for Casual Standard League!
This ongoing league is FREE to join.
Players of all experience levels are welcome as long as you contribute to a supportive environment for our beginners.
Brand new players can learn the basics and get a free Core 2020 Welcome Deck from an Atomic Empire staff member. Experienced players can jump right in and get their games in to receive their promo cards.
How does League work?
Build a 60 card Standard legal deck and play as many other league participants as you can on Sunday. Players may blind pick a promo from our Magic promo selection for every 5 games they play. Report your games to an Atomic Empire staff member at our snack bar to keep track of your games and get credit for playing. Played games may accumulate indefinitely. Don’t feel like picking a promo for a while? That’s just fine! Progress towards promos is kept cumulatively, so one game one week and four games the next week will make you eligible for a promo. This is the perfect venue for kids (and adults!) who are not ready for formal tournament play. End up enjoying Standard Magic the Gathering? Don’t be afraid to join in on Tuesday and Friday nights for our Standard tournaments.
