Once loyal servants of the Many-Named, the orcs splintered into scattered tribes and bandit kingdoms after his defeat. Now, they roam the wild lands bordering the Free Kingdoms, their former power diminished by the passage of centuries. The strength of the High Queen has kept them largely pacified, though orc raiders still prey on undefended trade caravans and outlying villages. Yet, fractured and divided, they have no raised their banners in open war in mortal memory.
