The first new Star Trek starship design since the original series, the Reliant made her debut in 1982's Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and her design has been seen time and again in the years since. Round 2 has updated the model kit, with inaccuracies addressed to appeal to modelers both old and new, adjusted tooling for improved accuracy and authenticity, a new dome style base, and marking decals included.
